Okay, so I'm not sure I would really call these an Orange Julius Copy Cat. They certainly taste an awful lot like an Orange Julius. Trust me, I used to work in a mall, so I've had my fair share of Orange Julius. However, this is a bit thicker of a consistency than the original. I wont complain though, because they taste great. They are really easy too and don't require a lot of ingredients.
Orange Julius Smoothie
- 6 oz frozen orange juice concentrate (1/2 can)
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tray ice cubes
I will be trying this because oddly enough, I have a 1/2 can of OJ concentrate in my freezer lol. Those cups are adorable, where did you find them? -Kelly @ Semi Homemade Mom
ReplyDeleteI actually found these cups at my local Walmart. I have a couple other cups of the same brand that I found at Ross too.
DeleteThat takes me back to the days when my young daughters pleaded with me to get one every time we went to the mall!
ReplyDeletePinning this one! I love Orange Julius and if they tastes even remotely like it - I'm sold! Love the cups too :) Thanks for sharing at Mom On Timeout!

I usually do a "healthy" version of Orange Julius by mixing half a glass of orange juice and half a glass of unsweetened vanilla flavored soy milk. The soy milk offsets the tartness of the juice. If you want it to be sweeter, you can always used sweetened soy milk.
