No Sew Sock Snowmen

I was browsing Pinterest and came across these adorable No Sew Sock Snowmen from Then She Made...  I don't have a lot of decorations for our place and these looked easy to make. I figured they would look perfect sitting on our fireplace mantel. The great part about these was that they really were easy and very inexpensive. I used a pair of white socks I never wear and for the striped socks I used a pair I found for $1 dollar. The She Made... recommends using old socks that don't have a match anymore. No one said  you have to use red and green socks.  I used yarn I already had on hand and some polyester fiberfill that I bought a long time ago.  You might have to spend a little more if you don't have some of the stuff sitting around. Check out the tutorial on how to make these little cuties over at Then She Made...  The only changes I made were I just tied all my ends with yarn instead of using a rubber band. I used the polyester fiberfill instead of rice. I would suggest the rice or beans though because with the fiberfill, my little snowmen don't stand up on their own very easily. I also drew my faces on with permanent markers instead of gluing on embellishments  Also, the socks I bought weren't ankle socks so I had a bit more sock to work with and only used one colored sock per snowman instead of two.

I have made sock snowmen and had forgotten that I still have some unfinished in the drawer. Love yours with the stripes. Mine are just plain but now I may look for some different socks to use.
Thanks for the reminder
