Glazed Ham and Pineapple Skewers

I think these would be great for a nice summer get together. I know, it's not summer. It's just that I'm ready for nice warm weather so I'm in the mood to share something that would be great at a summer get together. Anyway, if you are looking for something easy to make, this is definitely easy. Not only is it easy it only uses a few ingredients that you probably have in your kitchen already. (I'm not talking about the pineapple. I don't know anybody who always has fresh pineapple on hand.)

Glazed Ham and Pineapple Skewers
  • Pineapple
  • precooked ham
  • 1/4 lime juice (lemon juice works too)
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey
  • Wooden skewers
Chop ham and pineapple into 1 inch cubes. Put ham and pineapple cubes onto skewers. Mix together lime juice and honey. Brush lime juice mixture over ham and pineapple. Heat on grill over medium high heat, until heated through flipping through cooking to make sure all sides get a good sear.

You can also just use this glaze on some pineapple slices for a delicious side at a BBQ.

I'm sorry, but I've turned word verification on again. I hate trying to decipher the words just as much as anyone, but I'm getting way too much spam. I tried doing comment moderation as people suggested but the number or spam comments I had to sift through was ridiculous. I appreciate your comments and didn't want them to get lost among the spam. Hopefully, I can reduce the amount of spam and turn the word verification off soon.
