Cake Mix Cookies

I know I post a lot of cookies using cake mixes. You might think that I have something against making cookies from scratch. I don't.. Some cookies should always be made from scratch like chocolate chip cookies.  The cookies you see in the picture are chocolate cookies with peanut butter M&Ms. I was totally going to make these from scratch and then I realized I was out of cocoa powder. I really wanted cookies so I decided to settle with using a cake mix. The beautiful thing about this cake mix cookie recipe is that you can use pretty much any flavor of cake mix. This opens the door to all sorts of possibilities. Chocolate cookies, lemon cookies, ets. Sometimes I'll take yellow cake mix and roll the dough in cinnamon sugar for an easy snickerdoodle.

Cake Mix Cookies
  • 1 box cake mix
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1-2 tbsp water
Mix together ingredients, add any chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, nuts, etc. Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto a cookie sheet and bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees.

I'm sorry, but I've turned word verification on again. I hate trying to decipher the words just as much as anyone, but I'm getting way too much spam. I tried doing comment moderation as people suggested but the number or spam comments I had to sift through was ridiculous. I appreciate your comments and didn't want them to get lost among the spam. Hopefully, I can reduce the amount of spam and turn the word verification off soon.
