We enjoyed this delicious breakfast when we watched the General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints a few weeks back. It was delicious and super easy. If you haven't notice, I like to make cookies from cake mixes because it is so much easier that making them from scratch. I was curious as to what else I could do with cake mix and discovered you can make chocolate waffles. You could really make them any flavor of cake mix. You don't have to do anything special, you prepare the cake mix according to package directions and cook it in the waffle iron. The result is soft, moist waffles. However I like my waffles a little crispy so maybe I would decrease the water next time.
Chocolate Cake Mix Waffles
- 1 Box Devils Food Cake Mix
Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Cook in a waffle iron. Top with berries and whipped cream.
